    I am tired

    Wednesday, January 9, 2008, 09:28 AM EST [General]

    This little old witch is tired...

    A Christian I am, President of the Board that runs the Church, I am,

    But when I go to Church, I don't see God/Goddess in anyway, nothing but fighting, a Pastor who I am starting to believe is possessed truly by evil.

    Can't anyone feel the wind but me,

    this little old witch is tired.....

    Black November

    Friday, November 9, 2007, 12:53 PM EST [General]

    When I was a young turkey, new to the coop,
    My big brother Mike took me out on the stoop,
    Then he sat me down, and he spoke real slow,
    And he told me there was something that I had to know;

    His look and his tone I will always remember,
    When he told me of the horrors of..... Black November;
    "Come about August, now listen to me,
    Each day you'll get six meals instead of just three,
    "And soon you'll be thick, where once you were thin,
    And you'll grow a big rubbery thing under your chin;

    "And then one morning, when you're warm in your bed,
    In'll burst the farmer's wife, and hack off your head;
    "Then she'll pluck out all your feathers so you're bald 'n pink,
    And scoop out all your insides and leave ya lyin' in the sink;

    "And then comes the worst part!" he said not bluffing,
    "She'll spread your cheeks and pack your rear with stuffing".

    Well, the rest of his words were too grim to repeat,
    I sat on the stoop like a winged piece of meat,
    And decided on the spot that to avoid being cooked,
    I'd have to lay low and remain overlooked;

    I began a new diet of nuts and granola,
    High-roughage salads, juice and diet cola;
    And as they ate pastries, chocolates and crepes,
    I stayed in my room doing Jane Fonda tapes;

    I maintained my weight of two pounds and a half,
    And tried not to notice when the bigger birds laughed;

    But 'twas I who was laughing, under my breath,
    As they chomped and they chewed, ever closer to death;
    And sure enough when Black November rolled around,
    I was the last turkey left in the entire compound;

    So now I'm a pet in the farmer's wife's lap;
    I haven't a worry! , so I eat and I nap;
    She held me today, while sewing and humming,
    And smiled at me and said: "Christmas is coming..."

    A Witch's words to her Familiar on Samhain

    A Witch's Words To Her Familiar On Samhain

    Still your mind,
    and still your soul,
    heed the words that make you grow,
    listen to the winds of the sages,
    learn the wisdom of the mages,
    handed down to us from the ages.

    Time is ours,
    but only fleeting,
    hear the wings of eternity beating,
    soon enough we'll all be meeting,
    and each of us merrily greeting.

    The moon will be full,
    and round,
    and bright.
    And we'll be wisked away,
    in the dead of night.
    To the place we are meant to be,
    to learn and grow,
    and maybe see,
    a spectre of what we should be.

    Time is ours,
    frozen, but brief,
    allowing us to release our grief,
    to open our hearts and minds once more,
    and step through the sacred door,
    of time and space, and futures past,
    to teach us the spells to cast.
    So we may once again be free,
    to live and love and blessed be.

    So still your mind,
    and still your soul,
    and open your heart,
    and set yourself free,
    on this Samhain, I challenge thee.
    Learn the truth from mages old,
    the truth which was foretold.
    The time is right, the night is new,
    we can learn what not to do.

    Warnings from the great beyond,
    we'll heed them or all cry,
    for lies can no longer be told,
    when you look me in the eye.
    I've learned a lesson, bold and true,
    and now there are but a few,
    who understand the depth of change,
    and how we all must rearrange,
    our thinking and goals,
    for times anew,
    if the world is to survive,
    for me and you.

    We've got our work cut out for us,
    my friend.
    And we must not fail,
    before the end,
    or all will be lost,
    and fate will be no more,
    and finally the great beyond,
    will close the door.

    Time and space will exist no more,
    my friend,
    my familiar,
    we must work to prevent war.
    Peace must prevail for ten thousand years,
    and we must make sure it does.
    Our souls eternal bond will hold,
    as our bodies grow old.
    Fear not the great beyond,
    my friend,
    for it is a beginning,
    not an end.

    Our work will continue for eternity,
    until everlasting peace shall set us free

    This Hag was Tagged

    Thursday, September 13, 2007, 01:57 PM EST [General]

    I'll be gagged

    I've been tagged

    More than twice

    May this suffice

    Lay down some rules

    To use as tools

    And at the end

    Name eight tagged friends

    Rules---

    You must make your answers in the form of a blog. State that you have been tagged. And in that blog you must reveal eight things about yourself perhaps no one knows but might like to know. Then at the end you tag eight folks who haven't been tagged till at last we know all there is to know about everyone. Well here goes.

    1. I like to sing.

    2. My car has 112,000 miles on it because I don't like change.

    3. I love Halloween!

    4. I always sleep in Old Navy PJ's

    5.I make Magic Wands and sell them on E-bay.

    6. I could live on chocolate and it is a true vice of mine.

    7. I make the best chocolate chip cookies

    8. My cat, Tipper is crazy, but my baby.

    There I did it, and it wasn't so bad, now I get to name 8 victums.

    I'll come back and add those names later till then TAG ON!

    Here you are:

    In rememberance of 9/11

    Tuesday, September 11, 2007, 08:32 AM EST [General]

    I just heard this song and it touched me this morning.

     One day shy of eight years old,
    When grandma passed away.
    I was a broken hearted little boy,
    Blowing out that birthday cake.
    How I cried when the sky let go,
    With a cold lonesome rain.
    My mom smiled, said: "Don't be sad child.
    "Grandma's watching you today."

    "'Cos there's holes in the floor of Heaven,
    "And her tears are pouring down.
    "That's how you know she's watching,
    "Wishing she could be here now.
    "An' sometimes if you're lonely,
    "Just remember she can see.
    "There's holes in the floor of Heaven
    "And she's watching over you and me."

    Seasons come and seasons go,
    Nothing stays the same.
    I grew up, fell in love,
    Met a girl who took my name.
    Year by year, we made a life,
    In this sleepy little town.
    I thought we'd grow old together,
    Lord, I sure do miss her now.

    But there's holes in the floor of Heaven,
    And her tears are pouring down.
    That's how I know she's watching,
    Wishing she could be here now.
    An' sometimes when I'm lonely,
    I remember she can see.
    There's holes in the floor of Heaven,
    And she's watching over you and me.

    Well my little girl is 23,
    I walk her down the aisle.
    It's a shame her Mom can't be here now,
    To see her lovely smile.
    They throw the rice, I catch her eye,
    As the rain starts coming down.
    She takes my hand; says: "Daddy don't be sad,
    'Cos I know Mama's watching now."

    "And there's holes in the floor of Heaven
    "And her tears are pouring down.
    "That's how you know she's watching,
    "Wishing she could be here now.
    "An' sometimes when I'm lonely,
    "I just remember she can see.
    "Yes, there's holes in the floor of Heaven,
    "And she's watching over you and me."

    Watching over you and me.
